| Tamil Nadu is adorned with some finest beaches of the world. There is some captivating magic of nature on these beaches where God himself is said to have sat down and made them. The beaches are: |

• Marina Beach is the second longest beach in the world. It is 13 km long and is major tourist attraction.
• Mahabalipuram Beach is located 58 km south of Chennai on the shores of Bay of Bengal and has sculptural panels and caves on offer.
• Kanyakumari Beach, often referred to as “Land’s End”, a confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean take place.
• Rameshwaram beach: Lord Rama is said to have rested here. This beach is a tourist as well as a religious site and has one of the most revered temples of India.
• Cavelong Beach is loacted along a village called Cavelong. It is located 40 km from Chennai
• Elliot’s beach is located in Basant nagar and is a popular bathing beach for the younger generation. |
