Pench National Park




The Pench National Park is situated in Maharashtra in India, almost 70 kms away from Nagpur. The most favorable time to visit this national park is February to April. A large variety of animals like sambhars, gaur, blue bulls, langur, bears and wild dogs can be found here. It is most famous for its leopards and deers. It remains closed during July, August and September. A few significant natural forests are close to Pench National Park. Additionally, it is the background for Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book.
