Mutton Biryani



Mutton Biryani is a rice dish made with spices, rice and mutton. This dish was first brought to India by the invading Mughal army of Aurangazeb. The main ingredients that are required to prepare this authentic cuisine are basmati rice, meat, curd, onions, spices, lemon, and saffron.
First of all grind the green chillies, ginger, garlic, spices and onion. Add this mixture to the meat along with curd and mix thoroughly. Leave it for half an hour. Put the rice in boiling water and take it out when semi-cooked. Make layers of the mixture of the meat and the half cooked rice. Put one cup of water and ghee on the layers. Seal the lid and cook for 10 minutes. Garnish with coriander and fried onions. Serve hot.
