Masala Dosa

Masala dosa is a simple and easy to make dish that originated from South India. To begin with, you have to soak urad dal for overnight and grind them into a paste and again leave it for another day to ferment.
Now, put a small amount of the batter on a greased flat pan. After that, the batter is spread into a thin circle and fried with oil or ghee. When the dosa is slightly reddish in colour, it is stuffed with a mixture of boiled potatoes, onions and spices and finally folded. Masala dosa is basically served hot with sambar and coconut sauce.
