Marina Beach


Marina beach is a sandy beach which is located along the Bay of Bengal in the Indian Ocean along the city of Chennai in India. The beach is located along the 12 Km shoreline and is claimed by the locals to be the longest or the second longest beach in the world. The Marina beach is famous for its beauty and jolly ambience and also rich ecosystems.
Beach side shops, Samadhis, jog, statues etc are some of the many reasons that this is a must visit place for anyone coming to Chennai. Statues of local Indian legends, politicians, superstars, etc are installed along the beach road that is very wide and this is a very peculiar thing about the Marina beach.
