Iskcon Temple, Bangalore



The ISKCON temple in Bangalore was constructed on a 7 acre hillock wasteland and was started in 1990. The construction finished in 1997 and was inaugurated by President S.D. Sharma on 31st May, 1997. This Hare Krishna Temple is a stand apart from other temples in the city with the unique blend of glass and gopurams that were used in the construction of the temples.
The ISKCON temple in Bangalore draws 6000-8000 devotees every single day. People from all over India come to visit the temple. The temple has nine kitchens to fulfil the enormous requirement of offering that is given in the temple. The construction of the temple has been done in a very hi-tech manner and engineering feats have been completed with the construction of this temple. The main sanctum has been made in such a manner that it will last for thousands of years.
