Holi is the most colorful festival of the Hindus and falls on the Full moon day in the month of March. It is also known as the 'festival of colors'. This festival also celebrates the arrival of spring. It's a two day long festival.
On the first day all the prayers are offered to god. And at night time a bonfire is burnt, which is known as 'Holika Dahan'. The ceremony of Holika Dahan depicts the victory of good over evil. The Holi bonfire marks the beginning of this event.

And the second day is all filled with joy, fun and frolic. People enjoy this festival with colors and water. It is a festival that fills in all the gaps and brings people closer. Many mouth watering delicacies are also prepared to mark the occasion.
