Gobi Paratha



The Indian bread that is stuffed with spiced cauliflower is called Gobi Parantha. To prepare the stuffing, grate the cauliflower and sprinkle salt on it. Mix it well and keep aside for 15 minutes. Squeeze out the water from the grated mixture and add chopped coriander, jeera powder, green chillies, onions, ginger, salt and chilli powder and mix it well.
To make the parantha, knead wheat flour and make tight dough. Take a small amount of dough and flatten it. Put a tablespoon of the cauliflower mixture in the centre and draw the edges towards the centre. Again flatten it and cook for a few minutes. Add a little ghee or oil. Turn it and fry the other side till it turns into brown in colour. Serve hot with butter, curd or pickles.
