|Ghulam Nabi Azad is an Indian politician from Indian National Congress and was born on March 7, 1949 in Jammu and Kashmir, India. While he was appointed as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, he was the Parliamentary Affairs Minister of India during the tenure of Manmohan Singh. He was considered to be the crisis manager of the Congress and delivered victories in many states like Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The strength of this great politician lies in his organisational skills. He has a record of being the AICC general secretary for nine times and served as member of Congress Working Committee for almost 18 years.
