The ingredients required to make this dish are ½ kg fresh diced lady finger, 2 tsps cooking oil, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 large onion sliced thin, 2 green chilies finely chopped, 6 cloves of garlic minced, 1 tsp coriander powder, ¼ tsp dry mango powder, 2 large tomatoes cut into small cubes and salt to taste.
To prepare this dish, first of all heat the oil in a wide pan on a medium flame and add the cumin seeds. Next add the onion, green chili and garlic and fry till they turn golden brown. Now put lady finger into it and add coriander and dry mango powder. Fry them till they are done. Finally add the tomatoes and cook for another 2- 3 minutes. Serve it hot with chapattis or paranthas.
